About DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY

DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY at The Other Palace is a new parody set in the high-stakes, high-speed world of professional ice hockey. It follows sworn enemies Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, two talented hockey superstars whose on-ice clashes conceal a secret they are not ready to face: they are in love.

Written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley, the show brings together locker-room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs and broad comedy. It is openly less about hockey and more about the chaos around it, with emotional meltdowns, innuendo and a score that ranges from power ballad to party pop.

Expect full-frontal nudity and a tone that leans into the rivalry, the romance and the joke of it all.

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes. Age guidance: 18+.
