DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY is a parody set in the high-stakes world of professional ice hockey, where sworn enemies Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff are locked in a rivalry that hides a secret love affair. Written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley, it brings together locker-room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs and comedy with little concern for actual sport.

The show follows two hockey superstars whose on-ice clashes have become legendary, while the off-ice tension between them builds into emotional chaos. It is presented as a full-contact comedy with a score ranging from power ballad to party pop.

The production includes full-frontal nudity and is described as a filthy new parody. It is less about hockey than about the relationship at the centre of the story.
