About DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY

DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY at The Other Palace is a new parody set in the high-stakes world of professional ice hockey. It follows sworn enemies Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, whose on-ice clashes are legendary, while their hidden feelings create a very different kind of collision off the ice.

Loosely inspired by a hit TV series, the show is written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley. It brings together locker-room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs and comedy, with the production itself making clear that it has no understanding of sport whatsoever.

Expect full-frontal nudity, power ballads, power plays and emotional meltdowns in tiny towels. The result is described as a full-contact comedy that is less about hockey and more about hooking up.
