About The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo at Nimax Theatres is Tall Stories’ musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It returns by popular demand for its 25th anniversary and follows Mouse on a journey through the deep dark wood in search of hazelnuts.
On the way, Mouse meets Fox, Old Owl and Snake, and has to think quickly to avoid becoming dinner. The show brings the story to the stage with songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.
The production has also been praised in reviews from The Sunday Times, The Scotsman and Whats on Stage.
Duration: 60 mins. Suitable for: ages 3+.
Before you book
Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated next to each other. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
Wednesday 22 July at 10:30am is a relaxed performance. Tuesday 4 August at 2pm is a Relaxed Performance with a Touch Tour.
