About The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo is Tall Stories’ musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, playing at Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 7ES. It returns by popular demand for its 25th anniversary.
The show follows Mouse on a journey through the deep dark wood in search of hazelnuts. Along the way, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake, and the story asks whether the terrifying Gruffalo can save Mouse from ending up as dinner.
Created by Tall Stories, the production is for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.
Running time: 60 mins. Age guidance: suitable for children aged 3+.
Before you book
For all productions at Nimax Theatres, children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sit in seats next to each other. Wednesday 22 July at 10:30am is a relaxed performance.
