About The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo at Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 7ES is Tall Stories’ musical stage adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Returning by popular demand for its 25th anniversary, it follows Mouse on a journey through the deep dark wood, where encounters with Fox, Owl and Snake lead to a meeting with the fearsome Gruffalo.
The show is aimed at children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups. It combines songs, laughs and mischievous fun in a production from Tall Stories, whose work focuses on imaginative storytelling theatre.
Duration: 60 mins. Suitable for: ages 3+.
Before you book
Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and they must be seated next to each other. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
Relaxed performances are scheduled for Tuesday 1 September at 10:30am and Friday 28 August at 2pm. Tuesday 4 August at 2pm is a Relaxed Performance with a Touch Tour.
