About The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo is Tall Stories’ musical stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s classic picture book. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, it follows Mouse on a walk through the deep dark wood, where they meet Fox, the old Owl and Snake while searching for hazelnuts.
With songs, laughs and mischievous fun, the production is designed for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups. It has received strong reviews, including four stars from The Sunday Times and Whats on Stage, and five stars from The Scotsman.
Key facts: Running time: 60 mins. Suitable for ages 3+.
Before you book
For all productions at Nimax Theatres, children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated next to them. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Tuesday 4 August at 2pm and Friday 28 August at 2pm are Relaxed Performances with a Touch Tour.
