The Gruffalo at Nimax Theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue, London is Tall Stories’ musical stage adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It returns by popular demand for its 25th anniversary, following Mouse on a daring journey through the deep dark wood in search of hazelnuts.

Along the way, Mouse meets Fox, Owl and Snake, and tries to avoid becoming dinner by inventing the fearsome Gruffalo. The show is described as containing songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.

Before you book

For all productions at Nimax Theatres, children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sat in seats next to each other.
