About The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo is Tall Stories’ musical stage adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, playing on Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 7ES. It is celebrating its 25th anniversary and brings Mouse’s journey through the deep dark wood to the stage.
On a search for hazelnuts, Mouse meets Fox, Owl and Snake, and must try to avoid becoming dinner for the woodland creatures. The show is described as full of songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups.
Duration: 60 mins. Age guidance: 3+. Tuesday 4 August at 2pm is a Relaxed Performance with a Touch Tour, and Wednesday 22 July at 10:30am is a relaxed performance.
Before you book
For all productions at Nimax Theatres, children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and they must be seated next to each other.
