About Disney's The Lion King

Disney's The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney's internationally celebrated musical, reimagined for the stage by director Julie Taymor. It tells the story of Simba, following his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The production brings Disney's film to the stage with colours, effects and music, presenting a theatre version of the story in a clear, dramatic form. It is recommended for ages 6 and up.

Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including one interval. Performance times: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 3 are not permitted to enter the Lyceum Theatre. The show is recommended for ages 6 and up. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Venue doors open 90 minutes before the start time. Guests should be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show begins, as latecomers may need to wait before being seated and could miss part of the performance. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.

You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
