About

About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers, transferring to the West End following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Based on the classic cult film, it follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they plan to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for events to backfire.

The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. For the West End run, Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward all return. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre will be on 6 May 2026.
