The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of the classic cult film. It transfers to the West End after a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, and centres on down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history.
The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. This London revival opens on 15 September, with previews from 30 August.
The West End production brings back Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward.
