About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. Following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, it transfers to the West End this autumn. Based on the classic cult film, the show follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the plan to backfire.

The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. The West End production features Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward.

Richard Kind’s final performance in The Producers at the Garrick Theatre will be on 6 May 2026.

Key facts

Age guidance is 13+. The production includes scenes of a sexual nature, references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots. Accessible performances are scheduled for 15 July 2026 at 7.30pm (audio described), 23 July 2026 at 7.30pm (captioned) and 7 August 2026 at 7.30pm (BSL).

Before you book

Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and the accompanying adult must sit next to them. Your e-ticket is emailed only after you complete the online check-in process, which starts around 72 hours before the performance. Nimax Theatres sends the pre-visit attendance check-in email, and contactless e-tickets are provided once check-in is complete. No exchanges or refunds are available; if you cannot confirm attendance during check-in, exchange requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time.
