About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. It transfers from a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory and is based on the classic cult film. The original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards.

The story follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the plan to backfire. This West End production brings back Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward.

Key facts: Previews begin on 30 August and the production opens on 15 September. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre is on 6 May 2026. Access performances are scheduled for 15 July 2026 (audio described), 23 July 2026 (captioned) and 7 August 2026 (BSL), all at 7.30pm.

Before you book

Age guidance: 13+. The production includes scenes of a sexual nature, references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots. Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sit in seats next to each other.

Tickets and changes: Your e-ticket is emailed only after you complete Nimax Theatres’ online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance start time. If you need to exchange, requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance. No exchanges or refunds are available.
