About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers. After a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, it follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history.

Based on the classic cult film, the original Broadway production won a record twelve Tony Awards. The show takes aim at Broadway traditions and is described as an “equal opportunity offender”.

Key facts: Age guidance 13+. Includes scenes of a sexual nature and references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, plus strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots. Richard Kind’s final performance at the Garrick Theatre is on 6 May 2026.

Before you book

Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sit in seats next to each other. Your e-ticket is emailed by Nimax Theatres only after you complete the online check-in process, which begins about 72 hours before the performance. If you cannot confirm attendance, you will be given details on how to exchange, and any exchange request must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time. The cancellation policy states no refunds. Accessible performances are Audio Described on Wednesday 15 July 2026 at 7.30pm, Captioned on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 7.30pm and BSL on Friday 7 August 2026 at 7.30pm.
