The Smartest Giant in Town is a 55-minute musical adventure based on Julia Donaldson’s story. George is tired of being the scruffiest giant in town, so after a visit to a fancy clothes shop he gets a new look with smart trousers, a smart shirt, a stripy tie and shiny shoes.

His day changes when he meets a group of animals who need his help - and some of his new clothes too. The production features delightful puppets, catchy songs and Julia Donaldson’s well-known characters, with a story centred on friendship and helping others.

It comes from the award-winning Little Angel Theatre, known for A Sguash and a Squeeze and Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, and West End producers Fierylight, whose credits include Peppa Pig, Bing, Octonauts and The BFG. The show was nominated for an Olivier Award and has been described by the Evening Standard as “A Joy”.
