About Mermaids & Pirates
Mermaids & Pirates is a 60-minute musical that sees Long Gone Silver and his bumbling pirates arrive on Treasure Island, where they meet Marina and her mermaids. When The Sacred Coconut disappears, singing parrot Rita Conchita and her friends are called on to save the day.
The show features a cast of characters including the Seasick Pirate, a crazy castaway and Isla, Queen of the Island. It combines calypso-infused songs, salsa-styled choreography and comic surprises, with teamwork, courage and the magic of the Caribbean at its centre.
It is presented as a one-hour performance with no interval.
