About Mermaids & Pirates
Mermaids & Pirates is a one-hour musical for the stage, featuring Long Gone Silver and his bumbling pirates, Marina and her mermaids, and a cast of characters that includes the Seasick Pirate, a crazy castaway and Isla, Queen of the Island. When the crew discovers Treasure Island and The Sacred Coconut goes missing, Rita Conchita the singing parrot and her friends have to help save the day.
The show combines calypso-infused songs, salsa-styled choreography and comic surprises in a story about teamwork, courage and the magic of the Caribbean.
It runs for 60 minutes with no interval.
