The Seagull at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse presents Chekhov’s twentieth century classic on stage. The story follows an actress, her lover, her playwright son and an aspiring performer, set in a house by a lake.
What begins as a play within a play becomes a tale of art, ego and love. Caroline Steinbeis directs and Rory Mullarkey translates, returning to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse after Three Sisters.
