About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe takes you inside the Globe Theatre and the Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour experience. The tour combines a guided visit to the theatre with time in a walk-through exhibition space, exploring the sights, sounds and history of Shakespeare’s London across more than 400 years.

You can see seasonally curated displays, learn about the original 1599 theatre, and view the story of how it survived plague, fire and political oppression before being rebuilt in the 1990s. The tour also includes interactive costumes and props in the exhibition space.

The Globe itself is described as an open-air theatre, and the tour is run in English with information sheets available in a number of languages.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. Language: English. Suitable for: All ages.
