About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe takes you into Shakespeare’s London and the Globe Theatre itself. The experience combines a guided tour with a walk-through exhibition space, bringing together over 400 years of history through sights, sounds and displays.

In the exhibition space, you can explore seasonally curated displays and interact with costumes and props. In the theatre, expert Guides tell the story of the original wooden ‘O’, from the 1599 theatre that survived plague, fire and political oppression to its 1990s reconstruction.

The tour is in English and is suitable for all ages, with information sheets available in a number of languages.

Key facts: Approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. The tour goes ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather.
