A World Elsewhere at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse follows Cass, a boy whose imagination has always been filled with stories. Inspired by his grandmother’s love of Shakespeare, he and his band of imaginary friends have met heroes, faced villains, outwitted monsters and survived shipwrecks.
When the stories become less exciting and a strange darkness begins to spread through his elsewhere-world, the play turns to what has changed and what comes next. It is created by the Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals.
The production is described as a celebration of storytelling, with music, laughter, friendship and imagination at its centre.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Age guidance: all under-16s must be accompanied by an adult, and they cannot be sat separately. Refunds and exchanges: no exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
