A Midsummer Night's Dream 26S at the Globe Theatre is a vibrant new production of Shakespeare’s play, set in a space of communal celebration under starry summer skies.

On the eve of a royal wedding, a company of amateur performers prepares a play for the occasion and invites the audience into their story. Elsewhere, a group of lovers chase desire and connection through a moonlit forest, where playful spirits and a fairy realm bring the ordinary and extraordinary close together.

As hearts open, spells go awry and unexpected transformations unfold, the night builds towards chaos and wonder. By dawn, the characters have been changed.
