About As You Like It 26

As You Like It 26 at the Globe Theatre is a new production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. It follows Rosalind, Celia and their friends as they escape the Duke’s cold court and enter the Forest of Arden, where the play turns towards joy, music and unexpected possibilities.

Co-directed by Sean Holmes, whose Globe credits include Romeo and Juliet and Pinocchio, and Charlie Josephine, whose credits include Pinocchio, Cowbois and RSC/Royal Court, this staging is presented as a summer production with live music and a focus on revelry, self-discovery and love.

The Globe stage becomes a woodland setting for the action, with the emphasis on Shakespeare’s forest world and the shifting relationships at the heart of the play.
