About As You Like It 26

As You Like It 26 is a new production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It at the Globe Theatre. It brings the play’s shift from court to countryside into the theatre’s setting, with the Forest of Arden at the centre of the action.

When the Duke’s court proves cold and cruel, Rosalind, Celia and their friends escape into the woods. The story follows them into a world of joy, music and unexpected possibilities, where closed hearts open and love is limitless.

Co-directed by Sean Holmes, whose work includes Romeo and Juliet, Pinocchio and Globe, and Charlie Josephine, whose credits include Pinocchio, Globe, Cowbois and RSC/Royal Court, this production features live music and a focus on lust, revelry and self-discovery.
