A World Elsewhere at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse invites audiences into a story about imagination, storytelling and change. Cass, a boy with a heart bursting with stories, has always shared adventures with his imaginary friends, inspired by his Grandma’s love of Shakespeare.
As the stories become less lively and a strange darkness starts to creep in, Cass’s elsewhere-world begins to shift. The production is a celebration of storytelling, with music, laughter, friendship and imagination at its centre.
The Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals return with this funny, moving and inventive production.
