San Fran Ballet, Mere Mortals at Sadler's Wells Theatre is a contemporary ballet that reimagines the story of Pandora’s Box for an age shaped by artificial intelligence. It explores the promises and perils of humankind forging new paths in unknown territory.

Commissioned as a world premiere for Artistic Director Tamara Rojo’s inaugural season, the production brings together movement, music and cutting-edge visuals. It features choreography by Aszure Barton, live performances by electronic music producer Floating Points, and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia orchestra.

The programme returns as a fusion of electronic music, festival culture and contemporary ballet.
