The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is a musical by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. It won four Olivier Awards® including Best New Musical.

The show follows two Salt Lake City Mormons who are sent as missionaries to Uganda, where they encounter harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord. It uses comedy to explore the absurdities of Mormon dogma.

Alongside the story’s humour, the production also touches on consumerism and religion, making it a sharply written musical with a clear satirical edge.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval.

Before you book

This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights and gunshots, and includes explicit language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketholder aged 18 or over, and must sit next to that person. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Food or drink bought elsewhere may not be brought into the theatre. Seating plans are not guaranteed to be an exact representation of the auditorium, so customers with specific requirements should discuss them with the theatre before booking.
