The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is a musical comedy by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. It won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical. The story follows two Salt Lake City Mormons sent to Uganda as missionaries, where their plans for baptisms and conversions are met with a very different reality.

With music by Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez, the show mixes religion, consumerism and sharp comic writing. It is described as rude, potentially offensive and unexpectedly endearing, with a style that has made it a long-running West End favourite.

Before you book

This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be brought into the theatre.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder aged at least 18. Children under 3 will not be admitted.
