Beetlejuice comes to the Prince Edward Theatre, Old Compton Street, London, from May 2026 for a limited West End run ending in April 2027. Based on Tim Burton’s film, this Broadway musical follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager sharing her home with a pair of newly-deads and Beetlejuice, the demonic ghost with the most.
With a gleefully irreverent book, head-spinning set design and a score from this Netherworld, Beetlejuice mixes dark comedy with a story that is also described as weirdly life-affirming. It has been called a feast for the eyes and soul and screamingly good fun.
Key facts: Limited West End run from May 2026 to April 2027. Matinee performances from 24 July 2026 onwards start at 2.30pm rather than 3pm.
Recommended for ages 12 and over with adult supervision. The show contains strong language, adult humour, mature themes and drug references. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
