About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London, brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a new musical adaptation. Set in a world of splendour and romance, it follows Bohemians and aristocrats in a story built around Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, the production features a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine. Choreography is by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

The show is presented as a theatrical celebration that remixes the film for the stage in musical form.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes including interval.

Before you book

Age guidance: Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Content note: Strobe lighting will be used in the show.

Arrival and late entry: Please arrive by 30 minutes before start time. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point. Matinee performances: the venue opens 90 minutes before start time. Evening performances: the venue opens 105 minutes before start time.
