About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a remixed musical adaptation. Set in a world of splendour and romance, it is described as a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

The production is directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

Key facts: running time 2 hours 45 minutes including interval; suitable for ages 12 years and older.

Before you book

This show is suitable for ages 12 years and older. Strobe lighting will be used. For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time; for evening performances, it opens 105 minutes before the start time.
