About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. Set in a world of splendour and romance, it follows the show’s blend of glitz, grandeur and glory, with a story built around Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love.

Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh, the production combines theatrical spectacle with a well-known film story presented for the stage.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Good to know: strobe lighting is used in the show.

Before you book

Age guidance: suitable for ages 12 years and older.

For matinee performances, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive by 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
