Harry Potter and The Cursed Child - One-Part is a new play by Jack Thorne, based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It follows Harry, Ron and Hermione 19 years after they saved the wizarding world, as they return for a new adventure alongside a new generation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The production premiered in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. It is described as the most awarded play in history and the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, where it won a record-breaking nine awards in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.

The story centres on Harry’s youngest son, Albus, and the pressure of a family legacy, as past and present begin to collide. The production features spells, time travel and a battle against mysterious forces.

Duration: 2 hours, 55 minutes, including one 20 minute interval.

Before you book

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is recommended for children aged 8+. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 5 are not permitted, Babes in Arms are not admitted to the auditorium, and patrons under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
