Grand Union Orchestra - Cable Street Remembered
Looking back to the 'Battle of Cable Street' 90 years ago as a key moment of collective action. The East End's homegrown intercultural Orchestra, Grand Union, stands against racism with music and songs that celebrate diverse stories and voices.
After the local march and rally, end the day with our vibrant global choir, and world musicians from the unique demographic of Tower Hamlets.
The Grand Union Orchestra is a professional multicultural ensemble blending powerful songs and big-band jazz with musical traditions from across the globe. Join us for Indian ragas, West African drumming, Latin American salsa, and Bengali songs.
