How the Other Half Loves is a domestic farce about three couples and two homes, as Fiona Foster, Bob Phillips and the Featherstones become caught in a web of lies, suspicion and misunderstanding. When Fiona and Bob are each accused of having an affair by their spouses, they use the innocent Featherstones as an alibi, and the situation quickly unravels into chaos.
Written by Alan Ayckbourn, the play is a sharp take on sex, class and marital misunderstanding, and is described as one of theatre’s most entertaining comedies. This production returns the play to the In The Round staging it was written for.
