How the Other Half Loves is Alan Ayckbourn’s farce about three couples, two homes and a chain of marital misunderstanding. When Fiona Foster and Bob Phillips are accused of having affairs by their spouses, they use the innocent Featherstones as an alibi, and the resulting lies quickly spiral into chaos.
The play helped cement Ayckbourn as one of Britain’s greatest modern playwrights, and it takes a sharp look at sex, class and domestic life. This production returns the play to the In The Round staging it was written for.
