About Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre, Aldwych, London, is the long-running West End musical built around ABBA’s songs. Since premiering in London over 25 years ago, it has been seen by more than 70 million people worldwide.

The story follows a mother, a daughter and three possible fathers on a Greek island, combining comedy with ABBA’s timeless songs. It has also been adapted into two films, Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Key facts: Running time 2 hours 35 minutes including one interval. Performances run Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3.00pm.

Before you book

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticket-holder who is at least 18 years old. Children under 3 will not be admitted.

This production contains flashing lights. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Seating plans are not accurate representations of the auditorium, and customers with specific requirements should discuss these with the theatre before booking.
