Into The Woods is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical, transferring to the West End after a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre. Directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, it brings together fairytale figures including The Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders.

The story follows their journeys deep into the woods as wishes are made, slippers are lost, beanstalks take flight and new friendships are formed. It looks at what comes after “Happily ever after”, with The Times describing it as “stunning” and The Standard calling it “a triumphant musical mash-up of fairytales”.

Before you book

Age guidance: Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and seated next to a ticket holder who is at least 18 years old. Children under 3 will not be admitted.

Tickets and entry: Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Content and accessibility: The production contains haze, loud noises, flashing lights, strobe effects and periods of absolute darkness in the auditorium. Audience members are asked to remain in their seats during the darkness. Audio described performances are at 7.30 pm on Friday 9 October 2026, and captioned performances are at 7.30 pm on Monday 9 November 2026.
