Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into The Woods transfers to the West End after a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre. Directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, this production follows The Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders as they journey deep into the woods.

The story moves beyond the familiar fairytale openings to follow what happens next, as wishes are made, slippers are lost, beanstalks take flight and new friendships are formed. The Times described the production as “stunning”.

Before you book

Suitable for ages 12 years and older. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and sat next to, a ticket holder who is at least 18 years old. Children under 3 will not be admitted.

This production contains haze, loud noises, flashing lights, strobe effects and periods of absolute darkness in the auditorium. Please remain in your seat during the dark sections. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
