About Cyrano de Bergerac
Cyrano de Bergerac is playing at 85-88 St Martin's Lane, London. Edmond Rostand’s classic story follows Cyrano, a poet, soldier and philosopher who lives by his words and his sword, while quietly hiding doubts about his appearance. As Roxane falls for another man, Christian turns to Cyrano for help with the words he cannot find.
Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, this production transfers to the West End for a strictly limited season. It is directed by Simon Evans and co-adapted with Debris Stevenson, with the original play reimagined with wit, lyricism and heart.
