Cyrano de Bergerac is in the West End for a strictly limited season from 13 June to 5 September 2026. Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, this production brings Edmond Rostand’s classic to the stage with wit, lyricism and heart.
The story centres on Cyrano, a poet, soldier and philosopher who is fiercely funny, intensely romantic and haunted by doubts about his appearance. As he watches from the shadows, Roxane falls for another man, while Christian turns to Cyrano for help with the words he cannot find himself.
Directed by Simon Evans and co-adapted with Debris Stevenson, the production reimagines the original play for a contemporary West End audience while keeping its central love story and poetry at the core.
