Mora Restaurant

Established in March 2016, Mora is a small, independent restaurant in Leytonstone, East London, run by Chef Carlo Usai. The restaurant is specialised in fresh pasta, handmade daily in small quantities in our kitchen, and boasts a menu offering a range of delicious and unpretentious dishes, a mix of Italian classic recipes and modern creations, with influences from all around Italy, although there is a particular emphasis on the cuisine of Sardinia. The search of ingredients focuses on small, artisan products, of local origin where possible or, in case of refined and selected specialities, imported from all around Italy (like sausages, salami, fregola and carasau bread from Sardinia, burrata from Puglia, smoked tuna from Sicily among others). Mora's homemade food is accompanied by an ever changing selection of natural, organic, biodynamic wines from small Italian producers, local craft beers and sustainable soft drinks and spirits. Mora is located slightly off the beaten track, on the south side of Leytonstone High Road, not far from Stratford and the Olympic Park, in a location easily reachable from Leyton, Forest Gate and Wanstead.
