About You and It

You and It at King’s Head Theatre, Islington, is an award-winning Korean musical set in a near-future world where humans and artificial intelligence coexist. The story follows a grieving widower who encounters an AI created in the image of his late wife, using that premise to explore love, loss, memory and what it means to be human.

The musical won the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) and has been presented in South Korea, Taiwan and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024, where it ran for a month as the first Korean original musical to have a fully localised English-language production.

Blending an intimate two-person story with a contemporary score, You and It brings a personal perspective to questions about artificial intelligence and human relationships.
