About You and It
You and It comes to the King's Head Theatre in Islington, London, for a limited run. The Korean musical is set in a near-future world where humans and AI coexist, and follows a grieving widower who meets an artificial intelligence created in the image of his late wife.
The story centres on grief, memory and the meaning of love, and is shaped as an intimate two-person musical with a contemporary score. It won Best Musical at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF), and has been presented in South Korea, Taiwan and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024.
At Edinburgh, You and It was the first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production. Its subject matter places artificial intelligence alongside a personal story about loss and human connection.
