About You and It
You and It plays at King’s Head Theatre, Islington, London. This award-winning Korean musical is set in a near-future world where humans and artificial intelligence coexist. It follows a grieving widower who meets an AI created in the image of his late wife, bringing loss, memory and love to the centre of the story.
The show combines a two-person narrative with a contemporary score and asks what it means to be human when technology can recreate the people we have lost. It has been staged in South Korea and Taiwan, and has also been seen in Edinburgh and London.
Key facts: Winner of the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF); first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024.
