About You and It
You and It comes to King's Head Theatre in Islington, London. This award-winning Korean musical is set in a near-future world where humans and artificial intelligence coexist. It follows a grieving widower who meets an AI created in the image of his late wife.
The story explores grief, memory and the meaning of love as technology offers him a second chance at connection. Built around an intimate two-person story and a contemporary score, it brings together personal drama and questions about what it means to be human.
It was selected for showcase performances in London before becoming the first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024, where it had a critically acclaimed month-long run.
Key facts: Limited run. Winner of the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF).
