About You and It

You and It at the King's Head Theatre in Islington is an award-winning Korean musical about love, loss and artificial intelligence. It arrives in London following acclaim in Korea, Taiwan and Edinburgh.

Set in a near-future world where humans and AI coexist, the story follows a grieving widower who encounters an artificial intelligence created in the image of his late wife. As he is offered a second chance at connection, the musical turns towards questions of grief, memory and what it means to be human.

The production combines an intimate two-person story with a contemporary score and has become one of South Korea's most successful original musicals in recent years.

Key facts: Winner of the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF); the first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024; previously staged in South Korea and Taiwan.
