About You and It
You and It at King's Head Theatre in Islington, London, is a Korean musical set in a near-future world where humans and artificial intelligence coexist. The story follows a grieving widower who encounters an AI created in the image of his late wife, and explores grief, memory and connection.
Blending an intimate two-person story with a contemporary score, the musical asks what it means to be human when technology can recreate the people we love. It is being presented in London for a limited run.
The production won the Best Musical Award at the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF). It has been staged in South Korea and Taiwan, showcased in London, and became the first Korean original musical to present a fully localised English-language production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024.
