The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical about the Phantom, a figure who lives beneath the Paris Opera House, and his love for Christine Daaé. The production brings the story to life with its score, scenery and special effects.

It first opened at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday 9 October 1986, with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles.

Since then, The Phantom of the Opera has become one of the highest-grossing musicals of all time, winning 70 major theatre awards and being seen by over 140 million people worldwide.

Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performances: Monday to Friday 7.30pm; Saturday 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 4 are not admitted. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own within the auditorium. Everyone entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket; please print it and bring it on the day. Arrival is recommended at least 30 minutes before the performance start time, and you may also need to present valid ID. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.

Please note that Stalls Row N-S will have the top of the staging obscured by the Royal Circle overhang. Single seats cannot be left in a row when booking.
